Established in 1948, Addisons Paints & Chemicals commenced its manufacturing operations at Sembium, Chennai. Over the decades, the company has expanded its range of products to cover a variety of speciality finishes, coatings and paints. The company's factory is equipped with latest machineries and tools for manufacturing good quality products and effective quality control respectively. The company's R&D efforts are recognized by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

Addisons Paints and Chemicals is a division of Simpson & Co Limited, one of the pioneers in manufacturing diesel engines in India.

Addisons Paints & Chemicals welcomes the decision taken by GST Council for reducing the Tax Structure on Paints & Varnishes from 28% to 18%. Being a responsible company we are passing the tax reduction benefit to our customers by reducing the Maximum Retail Prices on Paints & Varnishes w.e.f. 27th July’2018.
